We are seeking an Outpatient Mental Health/Substance Abuse Therapist whom is licensed in the State of Michigan to join our Bay City team! **List Psychological Services is an approved NHSC site for Student Loan Repayment for providing mental health and SUD services for rural sites** Job Description Summary: Outpatient mental health therapist-Administer therapeutic treatment, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral modification and motivational interviewing to assist clients in controlling their substance use and co-occurring disorders and other areas of concern. Provide individual, psychological testing, didactic and group counseling services to clients and families to assist them in achieving more effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment. Assess and evaluate as dictated by their Master's, or Ph D degree. Requirements: The licensed therapist must be able to clinically assess and document the needs of each client, along with forming an effective treatment plan. Applicant must also be able to work with clients to reach goals and complete any and all necessary paperwork. They must be able to communicate with managed care and insurance companies to obtain proper authorization for all clinical care. A valid license to practice in the State of Michigan is required (individuals with a LP, LLP, LMSW, LPC, LLMSW, LLPC, LMFT will all be considered). Applicant must be personable, have the ability to manage their caseload and the ability to work with diverse clientele and cultural backgrounds. Some evenings and Saturdays may be required.
