ACI is currently seeking a full-time Licensed EAP Consultant/Counselor to join the clinical team. The EAP Consultant/Counselor is responsible for the provision of short term mental health assessment and counseling services primarily via phone, but occasionally via Skype and face to face counseling. Essential Functions and Tasks: Demonstrates excellent clinical skills and judgment Participates in the implementation of the clients' care plan in a timely manner and documents all assessment and counseling services Provides short term mental health assessment and counseling services primarily via phone, but occasionally via Skype and face to face counseling Responsible for actively utilizing clinical supervision and/or peer consultation Strong clinical skills in assessing substance abuse, and subsequent facilitation to an appropriate level of care within the community Communicates with external Human Resources/Management for purposes of consultation/facilitation in the supervisory referral process about job performance and policies Connects all clients to internal/external resources as appropriate, and as evidenced by documentation Performs other related duties and/or completes special project assignments as requested by the Manager Conducts EAP trainings as needed to clients via webinars and off site as needed Responsibilities may include supervising Clinical Interns Qualifications: Master's Degree in: Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field Current CA Clinical License Current Supervision Certification a plus Bilingual a plus, but not required Experience in counseling services to varying population groups including college level students a plus Experience in provision of counseling services to varying population groups; expertise in partner violence treatment desired; comfort in school-based or other non-traditional settings a plus Experience in supervising or managing clinical interns Company Description ACI Specialty Benefits offers best-in-class benefit solutions to engage the new workforce and drive business performance.
