Salary: £33,538.54 - £36,659.28 Pro Rata Per Annum
Contract Duration: Please note one 17.5 hour post is Permanent and the other 17.5 hour post is Temporary for one year.
Role Purpose We are looking for two enthusiastic, energetic social workers to effectively and efficiently provide a high quality service to children and families.
You will work as a member of Children & Young People's Service within the Social Work team, providing advice and guidance to individuals, families and groups experiencing child care challenges. You will work primarily with children affected by disability and their families. To work to ensure, wherever possible, that children and young people are helped to remain in their own homes and local communities, wherever this is consistent with their safety and welfare. The post holder will work with children on the Child Protection Register and those who are Looked After and Accommodated as well as ensuring an early intervention service within the locality. We are looking to recruit 2 part time staff that will work 17.5 hours per week.
Essential Professional Social Work Qualification.
Registration as a social worker with the SSSC.
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
