Job Description

Sanctuary Social Care has a permanent vacancy for an experienced and dedicated senior social worker to work full time within a learning disabilities team based in Surrey. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of senior social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.
The salary for this role is £39,000 - £43,000 per annum.
*These positions are based across 4 locations; Guildford, Woking, Leatherhead and Reigate*

As a Senior Social Worker you will be motivated , flexible who has high professional standard alongside sound knowledge and experience of current legislation and its application to practice in a social care setting.
An applied knowledge of The Care Act and The Mental Capacity Act and experience of undertaking safeguarding enquiries is essential alongside experience of working in complex situations using professional judgement and a range of interventions.
As an experienced Social Worker in the team you will have substantial experience in supporting professional staff. This includes providing professional and reflective supervision, guidance and advice to less experienced social workers, including those completing ASYE and social work students. In this role you will lead and establish best practice alongside your peers as well as demonstrating exemplary professional values and behaviours.
Requirements of the senior social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
