We have opportunities for Advanced Social Workers to join Croydon to help shape the future of children's services within our Single Point of Contact, Assessment or Care Planning services. As a senior member of the team, we'll look to you to provide guidance for the less experienced social workers within the service.
You'll be part of the comprehensive support structure for our social workers as they are tasked with managing often complex caseloads, safeguarding children and families in Croydon.
You will be responsiblefor building effective professional relationships with children, young people and their families that enables them to fully participate in assessments, and care planning which addresses risk in all its forms.
You will have strong interpersonal skills to engage and motivate children, young people and their families in a range of circumstances such as child protection enquiries and assessment, in order to keep children and young people safe and enable change.
We are looking for social workers who are experienced and can demonstrate the skills, resilience and experience in managing complex cases and evidencing multi-agency partnership working.

This is an extremely exciting time to join Croydon Council, we are looking for people who can drive our service forward.
