Understand your broad responsibility for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety. The provision of a healthy and safe environment within the health service is everyone's responsibility. Operationally manage the Psychology team, including allocation of resources; human resource management; and utilisation of data collection, reporting, monitoring and surveillance systems to support excellence in clinical and professional practice. Ability to apply high level clinical knowledge, skills and expertise to the processes and practices of Psychology client assessment, care-planning, complex case management, clinical decision-making and workload allocation. Demonstrated experience in strategic, operational and financial management of an allied health team. Ability to build and maintain a high-functioning, high-performing team through role-modelling behaviours and attitudes that support teamwork and enable clinicians to develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and the ability to deal constructively with workplace conflict and/or performance issues.
